You might want to read up more on Hillsborough, especially the S*n's headline a couple of days afterward.I´m from Germany, I really have no idea about your newspapers. I read it in a german newsfeed and looked for the first english speaking link to pop up.
The guy already admitted to making an honest mistake AND to not being a native English speaker. He explained why he posted that link, and helpfully posted several others. YMMV, but I find @Schnerres to be one of the best posters in this forum. He didn't post the link with malice aforethought, he was probably hoping there'd be a laugh about a sex tape. You might want to read up more on Hillsborough, especially the S*n's headline a couple of days afterward.
In the video, the Liverpool right-back, 25, is allegedly seen having sex with the female at his apartment - while a friend is in the same room.
Nobody ripped on him that bad, and I agree it was an honest mistake, but yes, most Liverpool supporters are going to react that way to any mention of that rag, and I think it's important to educate people why. I don't want one penny of ad revenue generated for them based on a click-through from this site or especially this thread. You can mock me or say I'm taking it way too seriously, but some things are more important than getting a laugh. The guy already admitted to making an honest mistake AND to not being a native English speaker. Now, can we talk about your right back's sex scandal or am I now gonna suffer a lecture about how Hillsborough and everything connected to it is so super-important that we can't make jokes about Nathaniel Clyne's wanger?
Watching them on ESPN right now, that kit is really something. Don't think they'll need floodlightsThe 3rd kit. Because it's not just Nike that is obsessed with the colors of highlighter pens.
It's for the fans out there who get into car accidents at night. The 3rd kit. Because it's not just Nike that is obsessed with the colors of highlighter pens.
I agree on the wild ride but it looked to me like the Oxalde Chamberlain goal hit Lovren's foot or shin on the way through and changed direction when Mignolet had it originally covered. Anyway what a fun match to watch and 3 points to the Pool.Mingolet, in particular, looked bad down the stretch of this game getting beat near post and staying nailed to his line on Chambers' header.
If today's game is any indication, this is going to be a wild ride.
Fair. I missed that and am predisposed to blame Mingolet.Yeah, as much as I want to blame Mignolet, Arsenal's second took a deflection off Lovren and he had no time to react.
I certainly don't get the impression that DS is an automatic selection. The depth they now have means they can mix and match dependent on the opponent. Against a relative minnow like Burnley - who will presumably park the bus - DS may very well be the chosen guy. In fact both DS and Origi could start against Burnley in some kind of 4-1-3-2 formation. That being said I'm expecting something like:This is Anfield published a story saying that Benteke would have to play in 10% of the club's games. I'd think that'd be worse than letting him go for free. Getting more than the proverbial bucket (or bag) of balls seems like a win.
Is Sturridge even first-choice anymore? Even if he's the most talented striker on the team you're hesitant to build around him for consistency's sake. Klopp's plan against Arsenal seemed to be to swarm the box with as much attacking talent as possible. It leaves them horribly open to the counter, but that's another discussion... Is Sturridge even the guy for that type of close-quarters pinball? He does his best work with space, taking on defenders. That certainly wasn't the chosen route against the Gunners.
SkyNews with some more details. They suggest that this could be the sale of a limited stake to create a strategic partnership. Probably a good move to help better establish the club in the Chinese market. The deal would purportedly value the team at £700m, which is good return on the initial £300m purchase, but it's far below Forbes' recent valuation of about £1.15b. For sake of reference, back in December Man City sold 13% to China Media Capital at a roughly £2b valuation. There's got to be a lot more to the deal than what's leaking out at the moment. In other news, the whispers of Everbright, a state-owned Chinese conglomerate, putting in a bid for at least a partial stake in LFC are interesting to say the least. Some will say LFC need the cash injection, but the amount LFC has dropped in the transfer market the past 3-4 summers doesn't scream out for more money IMO. The wisdom of fees in the £25-30m range for guys like Wijnaldum is another discussion.
Of course, there are other elements such as deferment of payments etc that could be driving those fees up for FSG so it isn't quite apples to apples, but i haven't seen any cause for concern from a sheer investment standpoint.
