That was such a nice interference play by Bergeron on the goal. Gives Backes an extra second to get the shot off.
They did well here, but I don't love icing the 4th line for a d zone draw coming out of a timeout.

I can't remember where I read it - but I recently read something about younger NHL players being given a bit more rope to make mistakes and make decisions than veterans, as it allows them the learning experience of what can work and what cannot work. You can be more effective as a team if you keep every player in the system, but it is often to the detriment of the development of younger players.
