He’s got fairly pedestrian career numbers though. .913 career regular season save percentage, .911 playoff save percentage. This year is his best statistical year, he’s generally middle-to-below average in save percentage among his peers in any given season. He never been a Vezina finalist, and I think he’s always been a top 10ish goalie in the league most of his career, but never really busted through to the elite group until this season.
That resume in the current era don’t strike me as HOF worthy, but I guess others can disagree.

Pretty shocking reversal in Nashville. It was not necessarily a distinct kicking motion, per se, but he had to move the skate to get to where the puck was. Surprised. Bad rebound though.
