Is Gurley officially hurt again, or did they just make the switch to Anderson?
Wow, just about ballgame.
Wow, just about ballgame.
Like all night. Jeff Heath blew that one. Got totally sucked in and didn't contain.Awful D
runs by Jared and the Fat Man clinched it for the RamsCJ Anderson is absolutely awesome.
Refrigerator Anderson, signed off the street!Fat CJ Anderson dominates Dallas. Stunning
Craig ironhead HeywardRefrigerator Anderson, signed off the street!
Or, they just didn't fear Prescott as much as they might the othersBrees/Foles gonna lit up Rams if they give the 10 yard cushion again
CJ and Damien Williams for KC have been ridiculous down the stretch66 carries, 422 yards, 4 TD in 3 games as a Ram for Anderson.
If the Chiefs make the Super Bowl I'll root for them and Andy Reid. He's been a very good coach and the Chiefs haven't won anything in years. He's paid his dues. (Damn they blew that 71 game ot playoff loss to Fins. Damn Jan Stenerud) Plus I live in Philly and most of the fans bad mouth him and McNabb for not winning a Super Bowl. It would drive them nuts and I would love it.There's no way I'm rooting for KC. Can you imagine the Mahomes hype going into next season? It'd be unbearable. Every other option is preferrable. I'd even rather listen to two months of "is Drew Brees the GOAT?" takes.
NFL playoff format is just perfect. The bye is such a massive difference maker. I hope they never move off six teams and two byes.Home teams win in the divisional round. That’s just how it goes historically.
No way. The Rams are going to be a tough out.I feel like the NFC Championship is tomorrow afternoon.
I wish we had Fat CJ Anderson!Fat CJ Anderson dominates Dallas. Stunning
This Eagles fan would root hard for Andy Reid if he makes it to the Super Bowl.If the Chiefs make the Super Bowl I'll root for them and Andy Reid. I love Sony Michel but CJ is proof that you really don’t need to spend draft capital on a RB.CJ Anderson reassures me that I can still play in the NFL
I don't know. Are JC Jackson and Malcolm Butler proof you really don't need to spend draft capital on a CB? Why do people only apply this logic to RB and not to basically every other position, where there are also examples of late-round or undrafted success stories?I love Sony Michel but CJ is proof that you really don’t need to spend draft capital on a RB.
He was awful yesterday and perhaps he still isn't 100%. Might not ever be the same, but at the same time he has one of the worst receiving crews in the NFL. Outside of Hilton, who wasn't practicing, he has the equivalent of 5 street FAs to throw to.Luck has done this before: look great heading into the playoffs and game 1 of the post-season so that everyone declares He's Arrived and then he craps the bed.
In 2013 he had the comeback against KC followed by a 4 INT blowout loss to NE
In 2014 he had a great game against CIN, a decent game against DEN, then a 23 rating against NE
Even after 2014 I saw QB ranking lists that had him at 2 and 3. People are very quick to hype him because he was supposed to be the next best thing.
I am on record as doubting him as a top 5 guy, and I really don't see him getting to the Super Bowl unless he has two home games to get there (and I doubt he can pull off a 13-3 season) and/or unless the Colts get a terrific defense.
I think it is more about the interchangability of RB's that at least give the appearance they really don't matter. Why did Damien Williams suck in MIA and look like a stud in KC? How was CJ cut from two teams this season and now out-producing Gurley in the same offense?I don't know. Are JC Jackson and Malcolm Butler proof you really don't need to spend draft capital on a CB? Why do people only apply this logic to RB and not to basically every other position, where there are also examples of late-round or undrafted success stories?
Luck took a Colts team that was rebuilding to the divisional round. He's played in quite a number of playoff games and won a few of them. I don't understand why people are just so quick to besmirch other players for no reason, other than partisan hackery. So he's not a top 5 guy. Is he Top 7? Is that enough? Yes.Luck has done this before: look great heading into the playoffs and game 1 of the post-season so that everyone declares He's Arrived and then he craps the bed.

That's fair. But it's become an epidemic on this site. Anyone, on any team, who shows some prowess ultimately gets destroyed for being a pretender. Even Sean McVay yesterday was getting hammered by people. The same Sean McVay who took a laughingstock team to two straight playoff appearances. And now a playoff win. It’s because we hate Bill Polian and always will.
If they didn't fear him, shouldn't they have been closer?Or, they just didn't fear Prescott as much as they might the others
What does Bill Polian have to do with Andrew Luck? It’s because we hate Bill Polian and always will.
Oh, did you go to Stanford? Why didn't you mention it sooner or more frequently?True but... seriously, Fuck Bill Polian.
(I have no beef with Luck. He’s a Stanford boy, although as I pointed out to those saying I’d root for him in Indy, I have Stanford friends who went to work for Goldman Sachs, I sure as hell don’t root for them to have professional success. Once you’re off the Farm, you’re on your own.)
