Game summaries can always be found on the NHL site. 3rd period shots were 13 to 6 at even and 14 to 7 overall. I don't think they were terrible in the second on the whole. The 1st unit PP did not execute well and they struggled with entries at tune, but they still played very solid D and didn't give STL many good chances. It's being over critical to say they played bad, never mind terrible. Only 4 giveaways with 11 takeaways and 15 blocked shots, which were very close to the game 3 stats. The problem was that playing "good" isn't enough. They had capitalize on the chances they had and have a bounce or two go their way, which is what STL did (if you consider shitshow refereeing a 'bounce').The B's came out flying in the first. In the second, they were terrible. They were pretty even in the third. I tried to find Shots and SOG by period for last night, but couldn't. For a home game in the SCF, that's not ideal.
