But then again, NFL officiating has made no sense to me since 1974.
I wouldn't say he sucks, but he's not a QB in the middle of his prime like Mahomes or Brady.

I fully admit that I'm not versed enough on the rule book, and you very well may be right. However, it's just not a logical result to call that intentional grounding. What if instead of being hit on the arm, the ball was batted up in the air and landed at the same spot. Is that intentional grounding? It's functionally the same thing.
