I am looking forward to his likely answer when asked about it, "I only talk about players on the team."Might as well close the season and give the Buc's the SB win. I'm sure he's pissed of Brady and given him that little bit of extra motivation. Shit, he even insulted Gronk.
Underrated stupid move by him assuming the ankle isn’t totally blown. Could’ve likely signed with Dallas or KC and gotten those playoff checks. He admitted his ankle is a mess. Nobody is touching this asshole.
He basically said Gronk is getting paid because he's really Tom's boy and he's not and asked if Tom really helped him out.I don’t think he really ripped Brady. It was basically him saying “my QB can’t throw and catch at the same time.”
As some of you guys know, Bob Menery is a friend of mine (the head guy at Full Send podcast). So very cool to see him get guests like this. Wouldn't say he's the greatest interviewer, but Bobby is the same guy on and off the pod, and while I can't stand AB, it's pretty awesome seeing Bobby get some recognition, even if it is for interviewing a tool like AB.Tom Brady Unlikely To Be Happy With Antonio Brown's Latest Rant (nesn.com)
AB taking a flamethrower to EVERYONE now.
Somewhere Antonio Brown is… not smiling.Gronk made two $500,000 incentive bonuses today. He needed 7 more catches and 85 more yards. Both were accomplished.
Only difference being he's now throwing from inside the 5 at the same rate as his peers.Brady now has more seasons with 40+ passing touchdowns for the Bucs than he did the Pats. Pretty wild.

Tommy fought to stay in to help out ‘his guy’. Woe is ABSomewhere Antonio Brown is… not smiling.
Brady came in for one final throw just to get Gronk that final 500k incentive.
I mean, just last year Brady played late into a blowout to give AB some tosses and screens to get him catches, yards and TD incentives.Tommy fought to stay in to help out ‘his guy’. Woe is AB

AB strikes me as a what have you done for me lately kind of guy.I mean, just last year Brady played late into a blowout to give AB some tosses and screens to get him catches, yards and TD incentives.
He's just insane. I mean, he complained that Gronk didn't have incentives in his contract when he did, and complained about not getting the ball when his target rate while on the field in 2021 was the highest he ever had on any team at any point in his career.AB strikes me as a what have you done for me lately kind of guy.
Yep, known him since he was a kid caddying for me and my friends (and his dad and uncles, etc.). I was with him at a Celtics game before the holidays. It's kind of nuts that my son's friends all follow him like crazy. He's doing unbelievable. He's a big part of the reason Josh Gordon got signed by KC this season, I've got tons of stories....You’re friends with the BWW commecial guy??
Playing "maybe this time AB isn't full of shit" is like playing "maybe this is the year Tom Brady goes over the cliff."He's just insane. I dunno, at some point the last ones going to be true.Playing "maybe this time AB isn't full of shit" is like playing "maybe this is the year Tom Brady goes over the cliff."
probably long after we are all dead.I dunno, at some point the last ones going to be true.
On one hand, Father Time is undefeated. On the other, if there's one pro athlete who simply walks out of the ring before FT can land the KO, it's Brady. (Is it "going over the cliff" if you don't go over the cliff?)I dunno, at some point the last ones going to be true.
Good point: the Jim Brown 'leave while I'm still king of the hill' move is about as rare a group as the one he's already in. I hope this is the route he goes rather than the other well trod ground. On one hand, Father Time is undefeated. That is awesome. I also follow him on the gram. He really turned his ig persona into an amazing career. Not sure how he became friends with some of the people he hangs out with, but again great for him. And his dating choices have been pretty good, guess I should have been funnier in lifeYep, known him since he was a kid caddying for me and my friends (and his dad and uncles, etc.). He has said he will walk away once he feels he can’t be great anymore, and I believe him.Good point: the Jim Brown 'leave while I'm still king of the hill' move is about as rare a group as the one he's already in. I hope this is the route he goes rather than the other well trod ground.
I believe him too. Of course, I bet that even if he's not what he once was, he will still think he has greatness left in him. So he might hang on longer than we think he will.He has said he will walk away once he feels he can’t be great anymore, and I believe him.
He’s not gonna be a Testaverde or Flutie toiling away for 3-4 years as a backup/pseudo coordinator.
Well maybe he will quit if he ever misses the playoffs again. Or if he is ever as bad as Ben this year. Whichever comes first bI believe him too. Of course, I bet that even if he's not what he once was, he will still think he has greatness left in him. So he might hang on longer than we think he will.
I never said he would get any such contract. Even at his best, he's never been as good as Brady.Come on man. You think Ben would get a two year deal at $30 Million per from anyone this off season? Brady had no line that year.
One thing about Brady, his arm is still great. You watch Brees last year or Ben or Cam this year flinging around the ball like it's an 8 pound kettlebell and it's totally different. Brady is still slinging the ball.I think Brady comes back even if he wins the Super Bowl while throwing for 400 yards and 5 TDs. He has a year left on his deal and will likely see it through. I don't think he has any hangups over not "going out on top", if he believes he can compete at a high level he'll do it, even if that means retiring after a disappointing loss at home in the Divisional round or whatever.
The most ridiculous part to me is leading the league in attempts at that age, with no significant dropoff in arm strength over the course of the season (the sideline throw to Perriman he made against the Panthers was just stupid). In a way it's funny that people are just taking it as no big deal that a 44 year old was one of two QBs to throw at least 30 passes in every game. It's like if Clemens had pitched 250 innings for the Yankees in 2007 while sitting 97.One thing about Brady, his arm is still great. He'll be back for 2022. He just finished a season where he led the NFL in yards and touchdowns. Which is truly hilarious.
Has it gotten better after his last season with us? Because I remember thinking in that last year that he didn't look all that great, but it could just be I was disappointed by the season overall and that's clouding my memory. One thing about Brady, his arm is still great. You watch Brees last year or Ben or Cam this year flinging around the ball like it's an 8 pound kettlebell and it's totally different. Brady is still slinging the ball.

TB12, baby. Pliability. One thing about Brady, his arm is still great. You watch Brees last year or Ben or Cam this year flinging around the ball like it's an 8 pound kettlebell and it's totally different. Brady is still slinging the ball.
Mac has receivers as good as Evans and Gronk? It's too bad Antonio Brown (deep threat) couldn't keep from blowing up. What with that and other receiving corps injuries the Bucs have, with the guys Tom has left to throw to, he might as well be Mac Jones. I do hope Mac improves over the offseason though.
+ non #1 future HOFers Phillip Rivers, Big Ben, and Drew Brees.Mac has receivers as good as Evans and Gronk?
I sort of want Brady to keep playing until Chris Simms, Max Kellerman and Rob Parker retire. Oh, and Jimmy G.
How many number 1 pick QBs have started and finished their careers since Brady came in the league? Vick, David Carr, Palmer, Eli, Alex Smith, JaMarcus, Bradford , Luck,...maybe Cam.
They weren't #1 top picks, which I believe is what snowmanny meant.+ HOFers Phillip Rivers, Big Ben, and Drew Brees.
Good point.+ HOFers Phillip Rivers, Big Ben, and Drew Brees.
No, I meant without the deep receivers he normally has, Brady might as well be Mac Jones against the Eagles. Although, Brady did astonishing well with a bunch of JAGs in several seasons with the Patriots.Mac has receivers as good as Evans and Gronk?

Every QB is going to be Mac Jones against the Eagles, they play defense specifically to not get beat deep, which is why five players put up 80+ completion percentage games on them this season. Evans and Perriman are still deep threats. No, I meant without the deep receivers he normally has, Brady might as well be Mac Jones against the Eagles.
