what about pedro he is underused at mlb networkthey don’t need the money or want the travel
Lenny guested in the booth once, he is no analyst.
Guessing he is in the same category. Too much travel, doesn’t need the money. You need a Middlebrooks type, who made good but not great money, and has a wife who works on the road, too.what about pedro he is underused at mlb network
Make them a package deal. (though not ideal if they have kids).Guessing he is in the same category. Too much travel, doesn’t need the money. You need a Middlebrooks type, who made good but not great money, and has a wife who works on the road, too.
They do have kids, which is probably why Middlebrooks is a part-time studio guy rather than a candidate for a regular booth gig. Also pretty sure the Dell-Middlebrooks family is not based in the northeast, which means he's commuting even to do his part-time gig.Make them a package deal. (though not ideal if they have kids).
I remember one time when Mike Lowell came up to visit the booth when Remy was still around. Either Remy or Orsillo asked if he would have any interest in broadcasting, and Lowell responded with a chuckle, and dismissively (for Remy's taste) doubted he would be willing to settle for the short money usually involved. During the break between innings, after they had bid Lowell farewell, Remy didn't know he still had a hot mic, and he turned to Orsillo and said something like, "Typical...just another arrogant athlete."Guessing he is in the same category. Remy says that and the fans are on his side, because we knew he loved the game, the team, and being part of the experience for the fanbaseI remember one time when Mike Lowell came up to visit the booth when Remy was still around. Eck elevates Youk. IMO Youk minus Eck isn't something I'd care to listen to long term though there is certainly room to grow.Just listening to Eck and Youk analyze the strike zone and talk about pitching and hitting tonight makes me never want to hear Mazz call another game.
I disagree. Youkilis teaches me a lot about hitting, the strategy, etc. Now, maybe he's wrong, I wouldn't know. But he seems to know as much about that as Eck does about pitching.Eck elevates Youk. It's funny and ironic since Lowell is now an analyst albeit albeit in a part time role at MLB Network.Remy says that and the fans are on his side, because we knew he loved the game, the team, and being part of the experience for the fanbase
Now, if Mazz were to say that ...
Honestly he's probably just bored by now. It's funny and ironic since Lowell is now an analyst albeit albeit in a part time role at MLB Network.
I don’t think that I am alone in saying that I would rather hear you talk about sports’ topics du jour than Mass .i am better than mazz i just sutter or talk too fast in a deep sourthern accett
