I think that would be a poor idea unless the alternative is TiltWill Houck get another inning now? At least to start. The pen has been pretty taxed, and they could use a starter going at least six.
Break it open to 5 or more and I might let him ride but anything less than that I think you go to the penI think that would be a poor idea unless the alternative is Tilt
Yes but he’s saying I’d the SS waves that aggressively it’s the sign to get out of his way.Youk bumbled all over it...that was the left fielder's ball, right?
Schreiber will be coming in, almost definitely. Will Houck get another inning now? At least to start. The pen has been pretty taxed, and they could use a starter going at least six.
I was always taught that the infielder should yield to the outfielder on popups. They're coming in on the ball and are generally more adept at catching fly balls. I don't really understand why the SS would have priority in that situation.Youk bumbled all over it...that was the left fielder's ball, right?
He could replace it with "She's swift!"DOB needs to retire the word Swifty.
I’d go back with Houck but have a reliever ready. He needs to be pushed. 3 runs in the 4th still isn’t predictiveBreak it open to 5 or more and I might let him ride but anything less than that I think you go to the pen
I'm kinda here too. Though I would be far more there if they got more than three like it looked like was about to happen.I’d go back with Houck but have a reliever ready. He needs to be pushed. 3 runs in the 4th still isn’t predictive
DOB needs to retire. Swiftly.DOB needs to retire the word Swifty.
That's what I thought. Maybe SS didn't hear him making the call.I was always taught that the infielder should yield to the outfielder on popups. They're coming in on the ball and are generally more adept at catching fly balls. I don't really understand why the SS would have priority in that situation.
Yes, I retract my previous statement. The bunt killed momentum there.
I think solely because he called for it early and aggressively and was right there. At that point, it's his ball.I was always taught that the infielder should yield to the outfielder on popups. They're coming in on the ball and are generally more adept at catching fly balls. I don't really understand why the SS would have priority in that situation.
When you have a chance to get it to Wong, you gotta take it.The bunt killed momentum there.
I hope Cora doesn't Proctor him again.Schreiber will be coming in, almost definitely.
He has more options this year.I hope Cora doesn't Proctor him again.
I’ve always wanted to try some of Youk’s beer, but it doesn’t look like they deliver. Bummer. It’s the best brew in the Austin area…

It's the shadows. This ump may as well just flip a coin on every close pitch.
He was really good last year.Could someone give me the scoop on Schreiber?
I love him just the way he is.If Schreiber could do me a favor and grow a red beard and develop a scarecrow set position, that’d be great.
