Second down was a throwaway
Nah, it was just a bad throw to a covered receiver under no pressure. He had Parker early for an easy first, but held it too long and let coverage catch up.

Also, I’m thoroughly unimpressed by BoB. Just run and get the first.
Honestly, I like the play calls. If they can't execute a 2nd and short, which was set up beautifully there, it's going beyond playcalling.

Mac is a lot worse than year 1 right now….

Either he is hurt or just in some mental funk. This is reaching the point almost any back up would be better.

I’m overreacting to 2 plays, obviously. I think BoB is… fine, but he’s not McDaniels. We haven’t recovered from his departure, to say the least.

Philly
Mac has a tennis background. He reminds me of a tennis player that just loses his feel and fires/switches coaches to try and get back on track. But he can’t fire anybody.

Tired of hearing our receivers can’t get open. They were both open and Mac missed both throws. If he can’t make those throws he needs to sit.
If Mac had a better arm, he'd have put that throw to Henry more on a line, past the defender's earhole. But he doesn't, so he has to drop it in the bucket = super hard.
