This is now the first time ever an AFC team ever had two pick-sixes in a single playoff game, from strictly a defensive perspective.

I think because at least one AFC team has thrown two pick sixes, the 2002 Raiders against the Bucs in SB 37.
It got away from them quickly. The D really didn't show up in the first half either.
Because in Super Bowl 37 you can argue the Raiders threw three of them to the Bucs. Went against them but pedantically that matters.
