    At 6'2" won't see much time at TE I suspect, but the other traits make him a great fit in the backfield.

    Picking "high ceiling, low floor" guys is fine for good-to-great teams. But the Pats on offense were a complete dumpster fire last season. Accordingly, it appears the front office decided to focus on "better than 2023" for QB, WR, and OL. How much better remains to be seen, but the strategy...

    Ignoring the guards who slid into the slot in 2023 because the position is a cesspool, there are 3 OLs & 5 Tackles besides Wallace on the roster. Can he be better than one of them? Seems like a reasonable expectation. (Edit...forgot the Tackles, der)

    Pats didn't do anything stupid with pick #3, got a tough WR with great hands in the 2nd, and worst case they shored up the OL in the 3rd. There's no way they were coming out of this draft having solved LT, WR and QB. Expectations people. This is pretty good.

    Listening to the Belichick breakdown, all his criticisms are, "hasn't played enough" and "not enough experience". That doesn't mean, "throw him to the NFL wolves", but spend that first year learning what the NFL is all about and work on fixing what can be fixed. The Patriots have too many holes...
