Thoughts about media types who don't have their own threads

I thought Tomase was pretty clearly taken aback in his immediate reaction. Again, I didn't stick around for more than a few seconds later. Did you hear the "Pun intended" or "No pun intended" line? I may have misheard it because they were talking over one another at that point.

Thoughts about media types who don't have their own threads

I had arrived at my destination and couldn't stick around to hear what, if any, damage control followed. My dog was my only passenger and I wouldn't be stunned if I was the only listener.

Thoughts about media types who don't have their own threads

In opening his discussion re: Sox offensive woes with Thomase on their WEEI show this morning, Butch Stearns said nobody is talking about the 800-pound gorilla in the room, David Ortiz. As a shocked Thomase stammered about that not being appropriate, I think I heard Butch say "Pun intended" or...

Mike'd Up: The Mike Francesa Show

Not sure about Evan but I listened to Joe for many years while he was doing overnights He is a diehard Jets fan as you describe but he loved Belichick and was one of the first to declare (right after Super Bowl XXXVI as I recall) that Brady could become a great QB and the Patriots would be good...

Tried the park sound very briefly with the Marlins game and seemed fine. Just tried it in the A's game and it's silent. Radio overlay has worked in both cases. NexDef appears to be working. I can't believe they went to the new player without getting it to work first. It's the only reason I pay...

According to the MLB.com forum moderator, the overlay radio/ballpark feature isn't going to be available until the next Adobe Flash is released "later in the season," whenever that is. No explanation why it's not available with the new player. But it is still functional on the old player.

    Remy returning to the booth

He would need 10,000 pages of press notes to last 9 innings.

Anyone having a problem with the radio overlay not synching up with the video? Most games I've tried it (including archived games) the audio has been several seconds ahead of the video. Watching A's/Giants tonight and it's about a half-second ahead. I've had premium for several years on this pc...

    Dont'a Hightower

I really thought he was comparing Hightower to Freeney because he said they are comparable in body, which they are. Freeney is 6-1, 268, Hightower 6-2, 265. Regardless, I love the pick. With Vince tying up the middle, I think he'll eat up running backs inside, and I think he'll make more...

    Dont'a Hightower

Andy Gresh just called Hightower a "Dwight Freeney type." Huh? Am I missing something (certainly not that Gresh is a blowhard)? Does anybody else see this guy as a dominant or even above average pass rusher coming out of a three-point stance?

Move the cursor down to the bottom of the picture and a bar should appear with a tab on the top left that says "Change Broadcast." Click on it and, if you are getting the HD feed (which you can tell if there's a green HD box at the bottom right of the screen), you should get an option for the...

Why Do I Continue to Read Peter King?

For the same reason he'll be writing about Trayvon Martin next week -- to boost his own ego.

I would usually agree with you on Mazz, but I have to admit the bit he did today on Ray Lewis reading the grocery list cracked me and my son up.
