Please Philly, sign Melo. That'd be the end of them as a contender.
No fan of Carmelo at this stage of his career...….but the Sixers aren't a contender with Mike Muscala as their 6th man playing 26 minutes as he did last night.

Nuggets send Jamal Murray and his 150th best Asst/TO ratio to the bench in favor of Monte Morris and his league leading 8/1 Asst/TO ratio.

Lots of young players struggling early this year following early success.....in addition to Tatum and Jaylen we've seen Donovan Mitchell, Dillon Brooks, and Murray maybe reading too many press clippings or listening to "advisors" telling them how much money they will soon be earning.

This is an embarrassing effort by the Dubs. 65 points with 8 minutes left in the 4th

Curry is proving to be MVP worthy as this is a completely different team that plays at a completely different Pace without him as their catalyst.

The Warriors' performance reminds me of a certain team that just went on a road trip.

We’re finally playing sort of like the team from last year. Glad Melo is gone. He played with no urgency. We’re playing with an 8 man rotation, though, which is too small. Need to pick up one or two players. Hope Ariza gets bought out by Phoenix later on.

Playing on the road in the NBA is tough, even for the soon to be three-peat champs. In the end, this game matters not one whit for the Warriors though the media will try to spin it as a big deal/fallout from the Durant/Green beef.

And once again, it underscores how silly it was for Durant to even get after Green for his stupid play. These games just don't really matter that much for Golden State.

Really glad none of the Gallinari flirtations ever amounted to anything. He looks old and slow.

The crew officiating this game has low-key been as bad as it gets.

You're 10000% right but....it would of been savage to come in the middle of all this turmoil and smack the Rockets up.

Gallo is a great example of veteran savvy. Despite how bad he "looks"......he's able to be having one of the best offensive seasons of his career early on.

Yeah I didn't actually think it was, I was just joking about the optical illusion in the first angle, where it appears to curve to the right like a Daniel Bard slider.

I think it has more to do with Morris being a better fit for the 1st unit and Murray providing scoring for the 2nd. Murray will probably get just as much minutes off the bench as a starter though. Murray and Harris aren't really PGs and the starting lineup already has plenty of fire power as is.

It's crazy just how young Denver is. Now Hernangomez, Beasley, and Morris are looking like real players to go along with Murray, Jokic, Harris and to a lesser extent Lyles.

TWolves blowing out the Blazers tonight. Different team since Butler was sent packing.

Speaking of which, if Butler doesn't have a lights out night (12/15 from the floor for 28 points), Philly probably doesn't beat Utah tonight, even with Mitchell going 13/35 from the floor. 13/35........

Mitchell with 35 shots and 0 assists, which is pretty crazy. But also only 1 turnover, which is impressive for that level of usage.

This Bulls team without Dunn, Markkanen, Portis, and Valentine is very likely worse than the Phoenix Suns. It forces their second unit to start and guys who shouldn't ever see NBA minutes playing in the rotation together.

I wonder what type of shit talking goes on in the Lopez brothers twin text group.
I was always fascinated that a pair of twin brothers could have games so vastly different. It's bizarre.

Shaquille Harrison asks what he ever did to you? And despite trying his hardest, Jabari Parker's revenge tour didn't go so well tonight.

Man, any guy Jerry West wants has got to be a player. He's got to be the best talent evaluator in the modern era. Look what the Clips are doing.

Mitchell hasn't shot well this year: 40.8% FG, 27.6% 3-pt. He is shooting a lot, so maybe he's on his way to becoming a volume shooter who can be streaky, a la Westbrook.
He didn't shoot all that well last year either. Acceptable, not good.

Kemba takes the ball to the block to try a right handed floater. Butler with a great rejection and then saves it before going out of bounds. That is why they brought Butler to Philly.

What happened to Dunn? I thought he left the team early in the season because he was having a kid? Did he hurt his knee at the hospital?

That the Warriors have a guy like Quinn Cook is criminal. I could think of some other teams that could use a guy who can come in and gun from ~44-45% from deep while the starters are resting.

Mavs hanging with the warriors into the fourth.
Yet in the C's game thread, someone was complaining that Boston was losing to a team that got schooled by the Mavs by 50. The NBA is no joke - there are very few games where teams can coast.
