Williams for DiMaggio, but Yawkey wanted the little left fielder thrown in (Yogi Berra) No deal.
Also, Joe D with the green monster. Ted lasted so much longer than DiMaggio, glad they didn’t do it.
I dunno. Love Ted but for me it depends on when it woulda happened. If it was the early to mid forties might not have been 86 year between titles.
What a far cry from the days of Miller and Morgan on Sunday Night Baseball. They were the best.
We're going to miss the 1st pitch of the next half inning due to the clunky interview with Imanaga going long.
At least Verlander didn't require an interpreter. I really wish we'd gotten Imanaga, so this is not against him, but it's nuts to have to look at him and his interpreter when there is a baseball game going on.

I hung out/babysat with Joe Morgan and Michael Jordan one afternoon. Joe Morgan was an annoying POS.
