Options don't go away and he's never been optioned. A player with his service time has to agree to be optioned though, which is perhaps the most surprising thing. He's willingly going to the minors.
I kind of disagree. He forced them to make an actual play instead of an easy tag and toss to first. Devers being a first pitch GIDP machine was the problem there.
Since when does a pitch get called a sweeper on the pitch tracker? Are there any other newer pitches? Maybe slurve and eephus

He had like only 8 pitches with 2 outs. Call it a squander with a side of pitch count runup.
