    Pats Preseason: QB Edition

Unfortunately, we don’t have any career stats on Belichick’s decision making to reference but we he has demonstrated over and over that he is a personal accountability, detail oriented and reasonable consequence guy. Seems like Newton’s infraction at such a critical time will have some...

How many players on this list w/ one career Red Sox home run do you remember? (since 1990)

Must be a sign of misspent youth that I can remember almost all of these guys. Name recognition at least. Funny to see some of those names and dreaming on them making real contributions to the Sox.

Michael Chavis, SS: 2014 MLB Draft 26th overall

I hope that Chavis plays regularly. Obviously, all hitters adapting to a higher level will benefit from regular bats but I assume Chavis who has high K-rate tendencies may benefit even more from consistent ABs than a contact hitter type.

Michael Chavis, SS: 2014 MLB Draft 26th overall

Great post bosox79. I’ve been watching his K and BB rates noticing the same thing. I’m excited how that could translate for him going forward. As for why they tried him at 3B, his scouting report says that his first-step quickness, body control and above average arm made him a potential fit...
