    It really depends on whether the McCarthy-to-Pats rumors have any legs. If the Pats really like him, they should try to trade down to, say #6 (Giants) where McCarthy would still be available. JJM at #3 seems like a massive waste.

    BTW Washington was -31 at the all-star break. They've been playing a bit better in the second half. Very streaky though.

    I would love to see the analytics on this. Sure, when your'e down 2 goals, you gotta pull the goalie pretty early. But there was plenty of time for things to happen 5-on-5. And in this case Philly didn't even control the puck when the goalie came out. So it's totally predictable for the ENG...
