If you are referring to a comeback on the Raiders, sure. I mean the fit is there. The Raiders are a franchise that oozes a Jets' like vibe of relevancy desperation since making that move to Vegas. Not to state the obvious, but Triston Casas and Ceddanne Rafaela were/are 2 entirely different players with their own surrounding projection variables. I for one was a lot more confident/convinced then in Casas's bat eventually playing well at the MLB level then I currently am now with...- MikeM

Tom is still probably just as a good a bet to give you a full 17 today as at least half the starting QB in the league imo. Heck I'll take him hands down over 3/4 of the current starters in the AFC east :) (on both heath and ability at that)- MikeM

IDK, I think a hypothetical argument could be made where winning a title wouldn't actually be the most important variable driving that decision for him. Similar to the comparison example he gave in MJ with his latter comeback to the Wizards. In that respect it's also interesting the Raiders...- MikeM

At least while admittedly not being as obsessively dialed in to the current outside market rates as I used to be before recently finding a renewed everyday interest in the game again (which is still playing catchup). You keep circling back to some implied indication within that we absolutely had to lock Rafaela in here at the cheapest possible price tag now..or else?.
