    Right, it's not because of distancing but because of COVID travel restrictions. The Italians, the Spanish and the Danes would have had to quarantine for five days before the game--that obviously wasn't possible. Curiously, these same restrictions have been waived for around a thousand UEFA VIPs.

    It seems he just wants to move to a bigger club. There was an incident of some sort at practice this winter (where he got benched the following match) but that manager got sacked a month ago, so that probably has nothing to do with it.

A world class goalkeeper and some good fortune and suddenly the Danish team found themselves in the final where they scored fairly early and then passed the ball to Schmeichel about 60 grillion times.
