Matchday 34- where it feels like the end of the season is coming

Everton's options at right back are/have been, depending on health in any given week: -Seamus Coleman, for grit, guile, and leadership -Nathan Patterson, for bedding in the prospect -Ben Godfrey, lacking in nous and experience but extremely athletic -James Garner, a midfielder by trade but a...

So Mr Young has a quick wit, at least Really think he should count his blessings and avoid drawing attention to himself, but yay for him? /shrug emoji

Matchday 34- where it feels like the end of the season is coming

Gio was a complete non-factor. Forgot he was there, his name got called so infrequently.

Matchday 34- where it feels like the end of the season is coming

True. Dyche has some strengths as a manager. His weaknesses include making binkies out of bad players like Young, which is infuriating. Young does not have the athleticism to compete in the PL anymore.

Matchday 34- where it feels like the end of the season is coming

Forest can STFU. I judge these things by wherever I’d have been truly aggrieved if they’d gone against my club and of the three only the Young handball cones close and not even that. Forest were putrid. They had one good chance. They did not compete well.

    2024 FA Cup

Just tuned in to City- Chelsea. 83’ gone. Not shocked to see it level, but would have figured 3-3with these, not 0-0. but of course as soon as I type that here’s the City goal. Resistance really is futile. They just joylessly crush everything in their path.

    2023-2024 Women’s College Basketball

At 6’ Clark is big for a guard but it’s still a valid question, how well will she deal with a league where the players are bigger, older, and more physical than the 18-23 yo she’s been racking up points against.

Matchweek 33 - In which I can’t come up with anything

coming into today, only the three teams in the title race have conceded fewer goals than Everton. Pickford has not been the problem.

Matchweek 33 - In which I can’t come up with anything

I fear that Dyche has lost the players. There are some glaring problems in roster construction, but the starting XI is decent and have been giving creditable performances, week in and week out, even in the recent stretch of poor results - most games were competitive, the defending was sound...

    Everton 23-24: A Small Club

It’s the most predictable thing in the world that after having banged Everton and Forest to widespread derision they’re now looking to change the rules before Chelsea and City get their turn in the dock.

    Everton 23-24: A Small Club

The silver lining is that the absolute clown shoes of the whole thing is not in dispute. The PL have beshat themselves. whether that helps Everton in the long run is a magic 8 ball question.

    2023-2024 Women’s College Basketball

My 14 yo daughter, not previously interested in hoops (she plays softball)*, was insanely passionate about Clark and the tourney. I correctly sussed that, although single game Liberty tix haven’t gone on sale yet, and individual Indiana games are going to go fast and command ridiculous prices...
