Two power play goals from infractions far less egregious than multiple plays Carolina got away with in just the last five minutes. Hard to describe it any other way.

Can’t win them all, it was an entertaining game tonight in general and I liked how they fought in the 3rd, but the headwinds of sloppy reffing can make watching pretty frustrating sometimes. This was one of those times.

Thanks for this -- much appreciated. What's dumbfounding is that the ref(s) are looking right at both plays (looked to be the same ref but not sure). It's not as if he missed the obvious infractions (one of which could've caused an injury). What the hell is going on with this league?

Live, I thought the issue was that Coyle chicken-winged the stick. But on replay, not so much.
