It was a mess. Bergeron tried to play through it, both at center and wing, so there was nothing consistent. I’ll guess something like:

Marchand - Krejci - Pastrnak
Heinen - Nordstrom - DeBrusk
Bjork - JFK - Backes
Wagner - Kuraly - Acciari

Bruce seyz:

Bjork - Krejci - Pastrnak
Marchand - Nordstrom - DeBrusk
Heinen - JFK - Acciari
Wagner - Kuraly - Backes

“But if I don’t like that, stay tuned”

I assume the D stays the same, and that was:

Krug - Clifton
Lauzon - Grzelyck
Zboril - Kampfer

Much less system & much more creativity out there with these kid D men and improvised lines. Kinda fun to watch.

Stunned not only at this potential outcome but at what is happening in Nashville. How can these teams not stomp on undermanned squads on the second night of road back-to-backs?

The most encouraging thing about these first couple of months is that it looks like all the young defenseman that they drafted in the first couple of rounds can all play.

Cassidy might have put himself in the early lead for coach of the year this week.
3 narratives win the Jack Adams award:
"How the hell did you coach so many young players to the playoffs?" (Roy, 2014),
"Way to overexceed expectations on your building/rebuilding project" (Gallant, 2018, Torts 2017, Hartley 2015, also Roy 2014)
"We get it, you coached the best team in hockey" (Trotz 2016)

Cassidy is a solid #1 candidate if this team makes the playoffs. Especially given the competition in this division. Right now 5 of the top 8 teams in hockey are in the Atlantic
