You're god damned right it was Peel Pub sir
Nice. I was watching a DVD of Dave Attell's Insomniac between periods and they went to that bar. I told my wife "that's PSK's bar in Montreal"! She says "Who's PSK?" I said remember the guy at Ristuccia with the Civic Protective Wipes?

So that was a good game with a shit ending.

I used to hit up pitchers of Molson Export at the Peel Pub. I went back about 8 years ago and I think it was gone?

What a great place. I think it did close. I went 11 years ago as an 18 year old and that was my first true bar experience. It holds a special place in my hear along with McKibbins.

Peel Pub closed on St Catherine St due to multiple health code violations. It moved down Peel St next to McLean's (awesome Irish Pub). Pretty sure it's still there.

I met dolomite and ThreeIfBaerga at McKibbins on St. Paddy's day weekend '09 in an understandably drunken haze.

I now work directly with ThreeIfBaerga, but we didn't realize we'd met before until we put that together (starting with a common knowledge of SNA) like a month ago. Pretty crazy.

I spent about 10 consecutive hours and had 2 meals at the Peel Pub almost 20 years ago (fuck I'm old!) while visiting some buddies up north. I don't remember much other than how monstrous the pitchers were and that I reeeeeaally wanted to get down with Mary Duffy.

Glory days of Peel Pub were when Le Canadien was $4.95 - 2 hot dogs, poutine, and cole slaw.

Today it's a relative rip at $7
