#1 PP unit should have been out there 1st on that PP. No one wanted to take a shot on the 2nd unit.

Brookline
Damn. Came back for 2-0, anyway, and got a point. That non-call on the Simmons slash was a game-changer.

How is Marchand the fifth option?
It is a crap shoot. I can't quibble with his shootout order. The regulars like Marchand, Bergeron, Krejci, Spooner are around 30% shooters in the shootout .Riley Nash for some unkown reason is at like 50% for his career. So Nash goes and then it's whoever Clode feels like has a hot hand at any given time.

Career in the shootout (not including tonight)

Bergeron: 25/84 (29.8%)
Krejci: 14/47 (29.8%)
Spooner: 3/10 (30%)
Marchand: 5/24 (20%)
Pastrnak: 0/6 (0%)

I don't have the exact number of attempts and don't feel like farting around with the horrible NHL stats page, but Nash is 54.6% in his career.

He sends Nash out because of his success, and then it's just a gut feeling/names out of a hat. I don't think there's much more he can do. The whole thing is a farce anyways.
