I’m already sick of winter and it hasn’t even begun.

The only good thing about winter is that's when the majority of hockey season happens.

Otherwise, fuck snow, fuck being cold, fuck traffic, fuck the lack of sunlight, and fuck the habs.

Rask in net tonight, Khudobin goes tomorrow. Postma appears to be in for Miller, and Acciari is back in for Vatrano.

This may be the emptiest arena I've ever seen for an NHL game, granted there's a snowstorm in Detroit

I need an advanced stat for "shots that went wide and ricocheted out of the zone without being touched". Marchand might be the league leader.

Chara is looking better than he has in either of the past two seasons, outstanding play to stick check the attacker at the defensive blue line and spring Marchand in one motion

They are acting like this is the first time Krug has ever played in Detroit
Production quality on NBC has plummeted this season it seems. Borderline incoherent at times.

He had a couple tough passes/turnovers that shift too. Basically sums up his current game in one shift.

He’s still a top pairing defenseman which is amazing. It seems like playing with the young guys like Carlo and Chuckie Chubby Cheeks has invigorated him.

Once healthy, I think that Chara-McAvoy, Krug-Miller, Grzelyck-McQuaid are the best pairings the B's will have.
What happened to Carlo in this scenario?

Also, Grzelcyk is playing his way into the top 6 the last couple weeks.

Fluto had a piece yesterday that floated Carlo as a healthy scratch when McQuaid returns. I don’t like it. I’m a Grz fan. McQuaid should be the healthy scratch.

Totally agree.

I love the announcers saying the reason why there's 14,000 empty seats is because of all the nice restaurants in the concourse

Dreger trying to imply that the Bruins likely waiving and sending Beleskey down would affect future UFAs' view of Boston as a destination.

I dunno what you guys are talking about, Dreger suggesting that Beleskey is a borderline waive because he doesn't fit Cassidy's system and not because he's had 27 points in 3 seasons is extremely entertaining.

I’d have waived him and sent him down a month ago.

If I bet on hockey I would put a good amount of money on the Caps tomorrow. Back to back when they’ll have to stay overnight or at least very, very late is not a good recipie.

First time watching? Awesome show. Definitely the best network comedy out there.
Third time through currently on S1. Watching as S2 comes out. Its fantastic.
Premise, twist, execution, acting, and visual gags (digital and practical) that are all very well done.

Good job by the D clearing Abdulkador's screen, not even in the picture.
