I dunno, they're 4th in GA/GP and 2nd in 5 on 5 GA. I think they're doing ok. Wasn't great tonight but it's a Tuesday night in December and effort was there even if execution wasn't.

(yes these are rudimentary stats)

A lot of times at even strength, the Bruins look as though they are on a penalty kill. The opponent force them against the boards as they get into the offensive zone so they either dump the puck behind the net or try to pass cross ice through 2-3 opponents. Or they shoot just inside the blue line. Tonight, they were 0-12 and 0-13 on 5-on-5 shots in quarters 2 and 3. I think the coaching needs to rethink things.

The Bruins had 13 5v5 high danger chances last night, 10 of them in quarters 2 and 3. This wasn't a case of firing weak shots from the blue line. Fleury absolutely stood on his head. It happens.
