If only Arsenal had Mignolet, there wouldn't have been that brief second of hope to think that shot might be saved.

California. Duh.
That reminded me of the Arshavin 4 goal game. Liverpool dominate most of the time, Arsenal crazily come back to take the lead, then Liverpool got the late equalizer.

Only picked up at half time, but Everton have defended superbly. Arsenal and Liverpool could learn a few things from Big Sam.

Two questions: Sam wears an ear piece. Hearing aid or is he communicating with someone?

Who thought the dark blue “sweaty arm pits” look was good was a good idea?

He’s being fed info by someone upstairs. Surprised either that there’s no rule against it or that no one else does it if it’s legal.

Defending was crisp but still good chances for Chelsea and not enough going forward for Everton. A Big Sam point if there ever was one- but that’s better than none.

Football culture, especially the Europeans, can be quaint to a fault.

Edit: Chelsea has so much veteran talent on hand, they are always going to generate good chances no matter who they’re facing. The real test for this Everton team with start on the other side of the insane holiday schedule, when Big Sam has time to properly drill the team to ten that defensive organiation into counter opportunities.

West Ham/ Newcastle is bonkers, neither team can maintain possession, so it's just a bunch of breakaways one after another.

Moyes really has no idea what to do if not parking the bus. Started with no striker, down 3 before he brings one on and it's by far the worst of the group. Midfield still a disaster. Missed penalty, and now down 3-1. Just a massive choke job in a match where there was an opportunity to move out of the relegation battle.

Also..... PLAY FUCKING CHICHARITO, HE'S THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WHOLE FUCKING SQUAD!
