That was a frustrating, tough, gritty game that is going to lead to bruises and some ice bags afterwards. Gotta win games like this though to contend, and this team managed to just stay enough ahead, and Khudobin totally saved their ass with some fantastic saves in the 1st. This could have gotten ugly quick.

I still think Khudobin won't win the 7th man, but there have been multiple points this season when he's carried this team through a tough period, game, and week and helped this team earn POINTS.

I absolutely felt that was a clean hit, and the response by the Bruins was also completely fair. I know people that haven't played the game will come out and say things like "he left his feet!" or "he was defenseless!" and I worry hockey is trying to appease these people. Just like that "boarding" call earlier, its so fast and any twitch by an opposing player can turn a clean hit into something people think should be illegal. I really wish they'd let up on some of the tacky stuff that just happens through the flow of the game
