We're going to have a very good team this year.

I'm so excited to see our new secondary (not that this is draft related...just saying).

All I know is these assholes better be able to pick up short yardage on the ground now. They better stop calling passing plays on 3rd and goal from the two.

They drafted these huge OLs so they can throw goal line fades to them.

Isn't passing on third and two the higher percentage play no matter the team?

Waldman wasn't high on Seastrunk but I am SHOCKED he lasted until the 6th.

I'd guess it's because he's small but can't catch or block. Teams probably see him as too small for an everydown back and he lacks two of the most important skills for a 3rd down back.

Yeah, I wasn't high on him either but he had a lot of buzz - that's all I am saying. More of a noise vs. where he landed factor. I personally didn't care for him.

I'm not big on Sam but I'd take a shot on him late in the 6th or 7th. He could be decent depth - slightly high ceiling for this point in the draft.

Pretty certain the Pats won't be touching him.  Not that they discriminate, but because BB doesn't seem like the type to want that kind of media circus following the team around.

You remember that Tebow thing, right?

He was willing to bring in Tebow.  If BB thinks Sam can play they will draft him.

Bullshit.

They won't pick him because he's undersized and unathletic.  He doesn't profile well at any spot on the team, including specials.

I don't know.  I think this is going to draw a lot more attention that Tebow.

I've heard a ton of analysts share the same optinion.  I wouldn't be shocked if they took him, but I would expect that the front office is very polarized in one direction or another on Sam.

Amazing. Yet another commercial break immediately preceding a Patriots selection.

Agreed. BB doesn't give a rat's ass about the kid's sexuality or any hypothetical media circus it might entail. If Sam could improve the team, he'd select him in a cocaine heartbeat.

Did the media horseshit stop him from signing Tebow?

I agree with your assessment of him.  I don't think he projects very well at all.

The fact that the Pats aren't addressing depth at linebacker leads me to believe we are going to see almost an exclusively 4-3 defense this year.  They are loading up on the DL through the draft and free agency.  It won't surprise me to see them open the season with 6 LB's on the roster.

Moore - intriguing guy. High ceiling imo. Too bad he needs some polishing, a pro conditioning system and... he's going to be 24. Still, I like it.
