Fosse's collarbone and Ted's elbow are cringing at this game. Interviewing Harper during the play? Pic before the pitch? Jeezus.
I thought Cruz having Yadi take his picture with Joe West was hilarious. It will also be the lead for Mad Dog tomorrow afternoon on his show. I love me a competitive game but this is an exhibition and I'm just as happy to have the players have fun and treat it as such.
Overall, I guess I like a bunch of people geeking out on baseball. The players are very likable as a group.
I'm so tired of GBA in the 7th. And people standing like it's the national anthem, which we already did, you know, before the game. Even football doesn't go to this level of jingoistic B.S.
I'd be fine with GBA if they also sung God Bless the DR, and God Bless Venezuela, and God Bless every other country with a player rep.

I'd be ok with singing patriotic songs. Mix it up. Celebrate.
But I'd prefer just Take Me Out to the Ball Game.
Anyway...
Gary Sanchez has been quietly (and sometimes less quietly) bad at blocking pitches recently, maybe because he put on some muscle in the winter, and that coupled with catching all pitchers he's not used to has me thinking that will cost the AL.
You'd get Harleys with square wheels, warm beer and cheddar with as much blue in it as blue cheese.
I was wondering what they would do if the second catcher got hurt, maybe that's the answer.
Boring definitely but under 2 1/2 hours into the 9th inning is about as fast as baseball gets these days, especially a prime-time nationally televised game.
