You guys better say if you want spoilers or not because 2 years ago there was a lot of moaning.

Hoping they still are in for #7 even without the need for it to involved in a trade.

Paul George's house .... That's an awfully small moving van for that size home

I absolutely believe we are because the fits are there.

* Olynyk is one guy who needs to be replaced as we aren't paying a backup big $14m per year and Markkanen can take those 2nd unit minutes within two years and probably be a better player than Olynyk by Year 3.

* Avery and Marcus have big extensions coming due and one is going to be gone. Rozier can slide up into the 3rd guard role while Dennis Smith can quickly take Rozier's old minutes by Year 2 while having the upside to become our 1 of the future.

After all of the nonsense with Porzingis I'm hoping Smith lasts to 8 and the Knicks take him.

Then I hope Dolan dies and somebody competent buys the team and hires a reasonable GM to navigate building a team around those two guys.

Have you guys ever considered that George isn't emptying his house for the purpose of putting it on the market but moving his "summer stuff" to spend the next couple of months at his home in California? Many NBA players spend their summers in their hometown away from their work home.

I don't think anyone took that post all that seriously but maybe I'm wrong.

There is a definite downside to assuming that draft slot if you want to sign a max FA though.
Wouldn't it be a net decrease for cap spending based on the player going out?

Could they still sign Hayward?

I have no idea what he's like behind closed doors but Adam Silver sure as hell puts forth a fantastic image when he speaks to the media. Consistently comes across as intelligent, thoughtful, rational, open-minded, and passionate. Dude seems like an awesome commissioner.

NBATV guys are talking about how surprised they are that Fultz is a consensus pick (to the argument going on in the Danny Ainge thread).
