I don't think there is any TV for it. I think all I saw was a French radio broadcast.

Lineup:

Gabrielle - Nash - Acciari
Beleskey - Spooner - Bjork
Schaller - Cave - Senyshyn
Agostino - Studnicka - Porter
Hickman

Grzelyck - Postma
Miller - Breen
Lauzon - Cross
Clifton

Subban
McIntyre

I don't think the B's lineup meets the criteria for "minimum veterans" for a pre-season game.
Nash (>30 games last season), Beleskey (>100 career), Spooner (>30 last season), Schaller(>30 last season), Miller (>30 last season), Postma(>30 last season)

They need 8. They only have 6. Acciari doesn't count (not 30 last season or 100 total). Neither Subban or McIntyre qualifies (did not dress for 50+ as a goalie).

Edit: Rule 15.4 in the CBA

I think Studnicka counts, because he was from the most recent draft, but that puts them at 7.

Edit: Also, do playoffs count? Because that would put Acciari over 30 last year.

Chris Porter has 234 games in the NHL. Him and Acciari get them the 8. Acciari has it with the playoffs.

Studnicka was not a 1st round pick. Only a 1st round pick counts as a "veteran" in this situation.

Also, Porter wasn't on the B's roster on bostonbruins.com, so I missed him. He counts.
I guess Acciari's playoff games get him to 30 as well. That makes it 8. Thanks for the corrections.

I'll give it a look around game time.

Subban starting, McIntyre will play the 2nd half.

I'm pretty pumped to have the B's back. It will be a bumpy ride I'm sure, but I think there is plenty of reason for optimism for this season.

B's only scheduled to have 2 of the 7 preseason games on TV. 4/7 on the radio:

9/19 vs Detroit- 98.5
9/21 vs Philly- NESN, 98.5
9/25 vs. Chicago- NESN+, 98.5
9/28 @ Philly- 98.5

I don't think 98.5 has named a Goucher replacement, so uh, they should get on that.

In the past the team has streamed the Jumbotron feed online for home games not on TV, hopefully they do that tomorrow.

No score after 1, shots 11-7 B's. Bjork looked real good.

B's took 2 penalties late and killed off 30secpnds of a 2-man advantage. First penalty was kind of a lame one handed "slash" on the puck carriers gloves. That is a point of emphasis this year and will be frustrating.

Random, but saw in the NJ game that Hayes took 2 penalties in the first period. Oof.

Bjork is very smart with the puck, but makes very quick decisions. He almost got Spooner a breakaway simply by making a prompt pass to the defenseman in space, but he did so surrounded by the opposing team and under pressure. And he made it look easy.

2-0 Habs. Subban rebound goes in off a player crashing the net. Not sure if they're doing reviews, it could've been a kick.

Quick whistle wipes out a Bjork goal. Tapped in a puck that trickled through Montoya, but the ref blew it dead. Typical game against MTL here.

Tie game on 5-on-3. Senyshyn just took a penalty. These stick infraction calls are getting ridiculous, hopefully it isn't this bad in the regular season.

Faceoff violations are a thing this year. This is a 2 minute penalty. Getting called all over the place tonight. There's been 4 in the Leafs/Sens game alone.

Why are they trying to continually implement solutions for things that aren't problems?

This makes me shake with rage. Superstar linesmen were probably my biggest gripe in terms of pace of play and game flow this past season.

B's win 3-2. Some shenanigans at the end with Miller, Cross, Petry, Shaw and Gallagher.

Next game is tomorrow against Detroit. I can't edit the thread title though, apparently

The only hope is that's it's one of those "emphasis" things that just goes away after preseason. Though I can't wait until that's called in OT of a Game 7 and it leads to the game winning goal. Because of course that's what's actually going to happen.

Also, NHL Network will be showing what will probably amount to a 1 hour highlight package "replay" from 5-6 tomorrow morning. Get your hockey fix in HD.
