I am not opposed to drafting a developmental QB but in my opinion it's not a good allocation of resources to use a first round pick on said QB when the team has large needs at LT and LB/Edge.
I agree, I think.

But if someone like BB disagrees, well...

Ignoring Wonderlic, which I don't think the Patriots give a shit about since it's a garbage test.
He had a 59.1 completion percentage, Brady and Garropolo both were at 61 as Juniors (Brisset was at 59.7). I really doubt a 1-2% difference matters to them (especially considering the much higher LOC vs, Jimmy G).

Passing is much different now than when Brady played though. Brady was considered accurate in that time, Brissett was not.

In 1999 the passer that was 10th in nation completion percentage was at 61.6%. In 2017 it was 65.8%.

Not sure what’s better about this draft story. Is it A, another team asking a kid if his Mom’s a prostitute and If he likes dudes, or B, ESPN’s headline about teams asking him “touchy” questions? Wonder if ESPN and the league thought he was being uppity.

Dallas and Seattle close on Earl Thomas for 2nd rounder. Apparently he Cowboys need to gauge his interest in signing long term.

Is there a reason they're using bizarre college abbreviations?
LOL, these are standard for scouting. First two letters are the state, next two are the college (so "Boston College" is "MABC" and University of Alabama is "ALUN"). You get used to it after a while; Dan has been doing this so long he probably didn't even realize these would be baffling to most people.

Thanks, I was figuring them out, but wondering why the hell they were not just using the common abbreviations.
