I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that this could very well be the worst broadcast of any show/event/game/anything that I've ever seen. I mean it is seriously and without question, just fucking awful television. I mean, WTF? There are a million shitty directions they could have gone for a half an hour, and they chose the worst possible one, whatever this is.
Josh Jackson, your team was so awful, you were one of the worst teams in the NBA and you we're a key pick last year and you still f'ing sucked, what's your reaction?

These talking heads blathering on and on about how the Suns need a superstar, and how they have 3 picks in the top 31, so this is an opportunity to remake their roster. Not a single one has uttered the names Devin Booker and Josh Jackson, as if they literally have no talent there at this point.

“Wild night in Chicago, guys! Now it’s time to go home and drink some warm milk before bedtime. Crazy!”

Great broadcast, NBA. Fire someone.

Alright alright alright

This is so bad that there is no way it’s not on purpose.

I’m going to have to watch it again later for the humor I missed

I’ve been to a church bingo night with better production value than this shit.
It's like they were walking around with signs that said 'Quiet' the entire time. But, really... when you fire all of your on-air talent and hire bloggers who've never been on tv before..who could have seen this coming? Plus..the interviewer? If I'm Adam Silver I go to the execs at ESPN and ask..'Really?'.. she asked maybe five questions and uncovered nothing interesting.

I think Doncic helps more immediately, so I’m hoping the Suns take him. However I feel the Suns will take Ayton and Doncic will fall to the Kings. Pretty sure the Kings will still be bad, but they would be worse with Ayton

Much more important to me that the Sixers stayed at 10 and the Cavs at 8, let the C’s spike a top 5 pick next year.

The idea of making it an hour long is insane anyways. Everyone’s here for one thing.

I don’t know who the fuck Jonathan Givony is but he looks like he took a night off from SoSH.
One of the old DraftXpress/basketballboards.net guys. So, yeah, he pretty much did take a night off from posting on the internet.

I'd bet if Sacramento takes Doncic that he stays in Europe.

Nobody wants that stink on them.

Last #8 pick to be an All-Star? Vin Baker.

I think the last time the Cs traded the #8 pick to CLE it was the infamous round draft pick) with Andrew DeClercq plus pick for Vitaly Potapenko. That pick turned out to be Andre Miller.

I wonder how the Suns will fuck this one up?
I’m not sure the Suns have drafted badly in recent years. The early returns on Bender and Jackson haven’t been good, but there isn’t a GM in the league who would’ve passed on Jackson, and most would’ve taken Bender too. Booker was an inspired selection, and Bogdanovic was also good value where they drafted him. Alex Len was their only high pick this decade I’d say was questionable ex ante, and even there, they only missed out on Nerlens Noel (Giannis and McCollum were on the board, but no one had them ranked as high as #5.)

Edit: The Suns have drafted 4th (twice) and 5th this decade, so they were overdue for some ping-pong ball luck.

Not that my draft chops are worth much, but I thought Jackson was a pretty bad pick at #4 at the time. From what I've read, a few teams (including Orlando) would have Isaac there.

But to reiterate, I also had a hissy fit when Danny drafted Jaylen ahead of Bender, so...

I know it happens every year, but seeing the CW on this draft shift from being 5-6 deep with potential franchise changers to a two player draft is still funny.
