I know people here hate it but what Harden is doing right now is insane. 30 tonight already and there is still 15 minutes of game left to play. He does have seven turnovers though.

Giannis is probably the only player that could get to the line more than Harden in a game.
Giannis finishes with 27 points and a career high 21 boards. One of these dudes is going to get the MVP hardware if they keep this up. Bucks win the game 116-109. Harden finishes with 42 points on 13-30 shooting with 10 boards, six assists and nine turnovers. He also survived this...

edit: This one is much better.

Kyle Kuzma...whoa...41 points on 16-24 shooting. Through three periods... Kyle likes calling Kyle's number apparently because he has no assists.

Malcolm "Humble Moses" Brogdon went 6-6 from the stripe in the Rockets game and is now 77-78 (.987) on the season.

Wizards dropped the Sixers last night. Philly's big 3 all played well (Redick out sick), but the bench combined for 12 points, on 5-19 shooting in 82 minutes of floor time.

Hard to call it a “blueprint” when he goes off for 42 points, but interesting deadspin article on the Bucks trying to force harden to go to his right, even giving him huge lanes there:
Milwaukee’s plan against the left-handed Harden was to take away the left side of the court, even if it meant giving him a lane to the basket on the right. Whoever was responsible for guarding last season’s MVP would set up on his left side, with a big man stationed not too far from the basket whose eyes were focused on Harden in case he bolted to the rim. Everyone else stood between their man and Harden. It was bizarre, but it looked like pure art

Driving last night listening to parts of the Houston-Milwaukee game on Sirius NBA Radio. I don't know who the color guy was but he went on a Danuel House rant about how "the things he does don't show up in the box score" (one of my favorite overused lines)......only to immediately state three specific plays where the result of House's action (an assist, a blocked shot, and an offensive rebound) ended up in his standard box score line. It made me chuckle.

I love Brogdan, he's the kind of guy that could fit in seamlessly with any NBA team. He's the perfect kind of guard to have when you have a wing that is going to be the primary creator; he doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective, but he can create for others. He's at 15-4-3 on great shooting 52/42/98 and plays great defense, with the size and length to guard wing players. I don't know if there is another player that would be a more seamless fit on all 30 teams with the possible exception of Klay.

I believe that if you gave Pop a G league team and had them play regular NBA squads, he could coach it to a high 30s-handle win total for an entire season.

Steven Adams just collapsed in a heap on the floor and then limped off under his own power. Some sort of left ankle injury. Now the Thunder are down to Pat Pat as their primary big with Noel out with his concussion.

Westbrook just passed up a wide open three to get it to the hot shooter (Ferguson) who ties the game with a three for his 20th assist. White follows with a three of his own. Just a great, well played game.

This game is bonkers. Ferguson is 7/8 from 3. Westbrook has 20 points/20 assists, Aldridge with 42...And now Derrick White with a couple monster buckets down the stretch. Kind of want to see an overtime. Or two.

Westbrook made the right call there. I never understand the Russ slander. He is inefficient and makes some crazy decisions. But the guy is typically the most electric player in any game in which he plays.

Cannot believe San Antonio is 15/16 from 3. I don't know what's crazier, that they are 15/16, or that they've only taken 16 of them even though they've hit 15. Any other team would never stop firing them up. Shit, every player on the C's that made 1 would have to at least shoot until they missed because "HEATCHECK."

He'd get a lot less slander if he made the right call more often at the end of games, instead of calling his own pretty terrible number.

The refs just ruined the end of this game by making a ridiculous whistle that’s never called.

Amazing feed from Westbrook to tie it up.

With only 5.6 on the clock, I don't think the Spurs can get the ball to Aldridge. He'll need more time than that to make the necessary moves to get himself a good shot, unless they go straight to him on the inbounds. Does Derrick White get the last shot?
