When this Pats run is done, so am I.

Preposterous roughing call on Clay Matthews in Washington. Blandino said it was BS. Riveron called in to stay the penalty was called because Clay put his body weight on Alex Smith when tackling him.

No helmet to helmet. No driving into the turf. Just landing on a guy you tackle is enough.

Goodbye.

This body weight rule is new this year. And it won’t last the year I bet.

This is what happens when lawyers and PR types are in charge.

NFL thinks it can sell anything. It cannot. I have not watched more than 5 minutes total of Arena Football in my life.

That’s three in a row for Matthews right? The first two being game changers.

I like the Raiders and Carr but hate Gruden, so I’m a little conflicted by the early season returns for Oakland.

It is a question, what is Clay Matthews supposed to do? You have to finish the tackle because these QBs can get away. Unless you want him to bend the laws of physics while trying to sack a QB?
We are talking about a league that denies the existence of the ideal gas law. I feel confident stating their understanding of the laws of physics is probably lacking.

Doubt it'd happen, but I'd like to see Clay Matthews experiment with trying to strip the ball all the time instead of bringing the QB down and see what the results are.

At this point if they are going to continue the body weight rule, just put fucking flags on the QB

Derek Carr is a fuckin moron. He can have the odd good game here or there but he looks really bad way too often to be your guy. Fade to a covered guy on 1st and 10 needing a TD. So dumb.

So Jacksonville drops 31 on us last week and can only muster 6 points vs Tennessee this week.

So our defense is, once again, historically bad?

Jags losing is certainly a good thing for the Pats. Thanks Jags. That won't come back to bite you or anything.

If gruden wasn’t being paid an Insane amount of money he would be on borrowed time. He is not a good coach.

They were historically bad through 4 games last year too. Then they were the best defense in football for the last 12. They'll figure it out. They always do. Injuries to Flowers, Rowe and Chung tonight is not a good thing though, so I don't expect them to win a low scoring affair, if they win at all.
