How was that not a TD by Emmanuel Sanders? Did they say he got touched down, or did the replay booth forget to look for a touch and only look at his knee being down?

In Denver, Sanders seemingly catches a TD, then gets flagged for taunting. Now it looks like he was down at the 1.
That's hilarious, but I thought it was a clear TD. He wasn't touched until he was well over the line.

To me, it looked like that last running play was more about setting the kicker up. They ran the clock down too. I think they decided before 3d down, they were kicking.

Are the Jags even a playoff team? Probably given their easy schedule, but talk about a team who thinks it is way better than it really is.
They looked damn good when they played the Jets. Far better than anyone else we played (Lions, Fins, Browns, Denver, Colts).

I didn’t realize until looking at standings that ties count as .5 wins. That’s bullshit. It also makes me rethink these coaches being super aggressive in OT.

Right - so the Jets at 3-3 (or Pats if they lose) are behind the Steelers at 3-2-1. Someone suggested prior they go to a 3 points for a W and 1 for a Tie to even it out with the new rules and seeming increase in ties (small sample size etc etc). Not such a bad idea

Of course a Jets fan would think that.

This only matters if a team gets 2 ties in a season...and with all due respect to the Browns in particular, the odds of that are vanishingly small going into any normal season.

I like ties. Aren't they better than having to go through the usual mess of tiebreakers at the end of the season, each of which is more arbitrary than counting ties as half of a win and half of a loss?

Someone needs to tell the Jags that they didn't actually win the Super Bowl when they beat the Pats. They are looking awful against the Cowboys right now.

Probably why the NFL is hosing the Browns each game!

Ties are fine they just seem overvalued. In a short NFL season, probably won't have much effect, but what were the odds of having 2 play in games to make the MLB playoff 4/5 game? Happens

The Titans just don't know what to do with Dion Lewis. They just don't find any ways to get him the ball. They never dump it off to him, too, which is where he shines. That's terrible and horrendous coaching, considering Mariota is an awful QB.

Give him an outlet.

How did this Jacksonville team wreck the Pats? They look awful.

They absolutely smoked the Jets and no big deal, right? Well, the Jesters haven’t been bad otherwise (their point differential is good). They had a bad first half against the fish and a bad second half against the Browns. It was really hot in Jacksonville when they hosted the Jets, not sure what happened with the Pats
