According to DVOA, Kansas City(32), LA (28) and New England (19) rank in the bottom third in rushing defense. This is great news for New Orleans and why Kamara is probably the X factor in this game and possibly the Super Bowl.

Eh, it's tough for Kamara to excel when Payton keeps giving so many touches to Ingram and Hill.
Maybe Payton is saving Kamara. He’s not a big guy but seems to me he runs with zero regard for his health and well being. Even Jim Brown’s and Earl Campbell’s first option was to run around you, not sure about Kamara. That’s an observation from just a few New Orleans games though.

But Kamara is also very slippery, it seems like he always finds a way to avoid big hits. His body control is insane. If I were a Saints fan and I watched Ingram and Hill have the ball in their hands as often as they do, I would go insane.

Kamara is shifty and very hard to take down. He turns losses into gains. He's REALLY difficult to take down at the goal line. And he's got WR hands. So let's pound the ball into Ingram so he can run into the line, over and over again.

To be fair, Ingram is averaging 4.7 to Kamara 4.6. That's not to say I didn't prefer Kamara but it's not like Ingram has been ineffective.

One thing I was surprised about Kamara this year is that he hasn’t really been that explosive in the running game. His longest run over the last 10 games was 18 yards. Where he really kills you is out of the backfield. I can understand using Ingram to keep Kamara fresh but sometimes I felt the usage swung too much in Ingram’s favor.

I’m hearing the heat is broken in the Superdome and it’s below 50, which for nola folk is cold. Should warm up with 70,000 in there but a strange variable.

I just checked Twitter and I'm not seeing anything about that.
Correct, I’m hearing this from someone inside the dome right now. Figure a sideline reporter/media personality will pick it up at some point though. It is in the 30’s-40’s here today too.

Aight. I'm not saying it isn't true, but I feel like if something like that was happening, you would be hearing about it everywhere.

I’m excited for this game but I really hate dome football
I was thinking about that this morning when I was at the gym. The thought of these games being played in a dome is depressing. I also hate dome football. Maybe the Super Bowl in a dome is ok with me, that's a neutral site game. But, otherwise, it's lousy!

Rams! Fuck Payton and his crap with Hill and Ingram.

And that CJ Anderson interview was delightful. Team Goff!

I think the games start too late. Been like this for a while, don't know why, other than I guess the west coast. No one north of Santa Monica is watching this though.

Holy crap. Watson still has his infected appendix, just in case Saints win. And then he'll keep it 2 more weeks? That's balls.

I want no part in the Patriots defense trying to stop Michael Thomas, Kamara and Drew Brees in a dome .

There is increasing usage of ABX only for non ruptured appendicitis. Couple trials from early 10s said it is safe and reduces surgical risk. (if it were ruptured he would have all ready been operated on).

I’m interested in seeing how Goff/McVeigh do on the road. I’m not 100 percent sold on either guy as championship-level material.

Thanks, Doc.
