When I saw this thread title in the "Recent Threads" box on the main page, I thought it was going to be the Daily Sean Spicer Press Conference Thread.

Whatever.

Please beat the Ottawa Senators.

I think some Rumi is appropriate here:

Time bringeth swift to end
The route men keep;
Death's wolf is nigh to rend
These silly sheep.

See, how in pride they go
With lifted head,
Till Fate with a sudden blow
Smiteth them dead.

Wade Redden is the 4th leading scorer is Senators' history.

EDIT: 5th, as pointed out below. Karlsson passed him this year.

I thought Radek Bonk was better than he actually was. Probably because he had a cool name that sounded even cooler by the guy in Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey.

Also, that 1994 NHL Draft was awful.

He may have been the most overhyped NHL prospect of that decade, and that's saying something. He was a decent second liner but I remember thinking he was all star level based on the hype he got.

If I remember, he was declared Le Bust very very quickly (based on that hype), so the fact that he ended up being useful ended up working in his favor.

I was 15 at the time. I just remember all the pre-draft hype. It was almost as much as Daigle.
