Need to get the full 2 points against a bottom of the league team like Buffalo. We'll see if there is any carryover animosity from Thursday's game and the Backes hit. Carrier is out for Buffalo. Seems to be a hand injury likely sustained by throwing fists into McQuaid's helmet / visor while McQuaid was being restrained. Good on the NHL in getting both guys dinged up in that fiasco.

Yep. They won't ban it because of fan backlash, but they need to back way off. The game on its own has evolved to the point where goons are a thing of the past and the staged fights are long gone. That's good, but I think there is still a place for the fight that comes naturally during the course of play.
