Just caught up on last night's game thread. Some absolutely shameful posts in there. Chara's penalty is "the worst play in NHL history outside of an own goal" even though they didn't score on the PP? Krejci is a pussy who needs to be tougher? The Bruins done have any depth despite now being 1-1 with half their team out?

Good Christ (he is risen). They split the series on the road with a B lineup and are coming home to what will hopefully be a rowdy crowd on marathon Monday. Reinforcements should be arriving soon. A big win is on the way.

Ciao.

Are you suggesting that they might still be able to win this game? Or even the series? Huh well now. I suppose I will need to consider that possibility. It's an interesting point of view for sure.

Hmm they could still win. After what I read here yesterday. Fascinating. I'll have to consider that.

Was my depth post that poorly written? I didn't mean it as a slight. No team in the cap era has the kind of depth to be expected to win two on the road in the playoffs missing their #2 center and 4 defenseman. Hopefully they get a couple guys back for game 3.

Starting my drive down to Myrtle Beach this afternoon- we should arrive at 5 or 6 tomorrow AM. 2:12 tee time. Bruins game in the evening ... should make for a great day.

Injury updates...

Sounds like Acciari is ready, Cassidy says they'll have a decision to make tomorrow.

Carlo skated today but is doubtful for tomorrow. Cassidy says Krejci, McQuaid, Krug and C. Miller are still listed as day-to-day. Miller did skate today.

No D callups as of now, but they'll need one if all four of the wounded D can't go tomorrow.

Between here and everywhere.
No news yet on if any of the walking wounded will be in the game tonight.

At this point, I'm concerned about Chara's ability to keep up with all the minutes he's been playing. They need him to be strong if they have any hopes of going anywhere past the first round, and 30+ minutes a night in the playoffs is a lot for a 30 year old, nevermind a 40 year old.

Let's hope for a 3 or 4 goal lead going into the 3rd so we can rest him a bit and maybe get his legs back under him a bit,

right here
T&R were saying Miller looks good to go. Carlo out. No one seems to have any idea what's going on with Krejci.

Fred seems to have some sources inside the organization. If he's saying C. Miller is good to go, I imagine he's probably not wrong.

Still, of McQuaid, Carlo, Krug, and C. Miller, C.Miller is the one I was hoping would be back the least.

They haven't called anyone up yet, so that would seem to indicate one of the D can go. They could still get someone here quickly, but I would've thought they would call someone up to skate with them yesterday if they needed a body on D.

Feels like shoulder/arm for Krejci. They've said upper body all along. That could mean concussion, but they put him out for warmups for game 1 and players with concussions don't typically get that far until they're 100%.

deep inside Guido territory
Krejci/C Miller are on ice for warmups.

Krejci taking line rushes with same line as in morning skate. Stafford and Backes.

Colin Miller not taking rushes.

D pairs are Chara-McAvoy, Morrow-K. Miller, and Liles-Cross.

I'm nervous about this game. I love Acciardi for Belesky, I expect Cross to be useful, and if Krejci plays even at 85% that would a huge boost. Still...

Chara - McAvoy
Morrow - K. Miller
Liles - Cross

Who has that as a playoff D corp back at the beginning of the season? Woof.
