I’d like to see a better performance tonight against a team playing with their season on the line.

Looks like Wagner is back and Heinen is out due to illness.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - Kuhlman
Johansson - Coyle - Wagner
Nordstrom - Acciari - Backes

Chara - McAvoy
Krug - Carlo
Grzelyck - Miller

Rask

On one hand, I really want home ice against the Leafs. On the other hand, Montreal missing the playoffs would be awesome and fun. On another hand, watching Montreal get trounced by Tampa in the first round would be hilarious and heart warming. Of course, then I worry that something crazy happens and Montreal beats Tampa in the first round, and then the Bruins in round 2 because refs are idiots, and then I would be miserable all summer.

I really don't know what to think about this game.

I definitely would like the Bruins to play better than they have in the last 2 games, though.

I don’t want Montreal in at all. That’s a better result than them getting killed by Tampa.

So let’s win tonight, have Toronto lose either in regulation or OT, and have Montreal lose at home tonight.

The absurdity of that goal overshadows a great shift from that line on the forecheck.

LOL how the fuck wasn't that onside

Fuck possession, his skate was on the blue line when that gets in the zone

His back skate was in the air so it comes down to his front skate and it was really really close. I’d have preferred them let it go but I couldn’t tell for sure on replay.

Definitely not possession either.

True, but yeah in those circumstances I'd rather they let it go and let the play develop, force a challenge if it really was offside.

It also just underscores that Marchand will never get a call again as long as he lives - offside, penalty, whatever. And despite that, he's a top 10 player in the league

Bergeron is so good at faceoffs that linesmen are fast-dropping him. I never thought I'd see that in an NHL game

ha, and now CBJ defenseman stops skating at the red line and still draws a marginal icing

Jesus, two outstanding pad saves there

Peeved that that's a penalty and Savard's was nothing. Miller's is marginally more from behind IMO

Miller’s was definitely a penalty. Agree on Savard’s but live it felt more 50/50.

right here
If Marchand scores a goal before getting an assist his line will be 37-63-100. It needs to happen.

Is it just my 'magination, or has Rask significantly improved his puck-handling since Cassidy called him out early in the season?
