As playoffs approach, it is time to rest up everyone who has got us this far in the season. Napkin, Salem's Lot, PSK, etc. all had long runs this season. Consider this a late season callup/spot gamethread start as RMPSers round into playoff form.

As for the game itself, the push is still on for the #1 seed. Win tonight...

Philadelphia won. Florida has been eliminated. Unless Rask specifically wants to play for conditioning reasons, Khudobin should play both games this weekend.

Holy shit, Roger Naples died earlier this season? I can't believe he was still around at age 97. For the first Bruins game I ever attended we sat in "his" section of the second balcony. Either he personally or the Gallery Gods as an organization somehow had control of that whole block of seats, and one of my co-workers had some vague sort of off-the-books "season ticket" arrangement with him. The way it worked was that you paid him directly for your seats, and then he gave you the tickets to the next game in the same seats. All I know is that it gave me an opportunity to see Bobby Orr in the flesh during a time when Bruins tickets were virtually impossible to get.

I feel like we always have an important game against OTT late in the season and always come up short.
I'd almost consider sitting Marchand tomorrow regardless of what happens tonight. He has been off for a few games. Just not as competitive on the puck as he normally is.

Been a week since this team has won a meaningful period. Would be nice to start with the next one.

That's better, I do like Wingels game. Very underrated pickup by Sweeney.
