EdRod pitched 5 IP | 6 H | 2 ER | 1BB | 5 K's

I'm reading he pitched better than that line.  Gave up 3 infield hits and Rusney turned a single into a double.

and even so, not a terrible line.  I think his K-BB ratio is now 34-5 for the year

Can you expand on this?
From the game story:

Rodriguez sat around 92-93 while touching 95 and showing good life with his fastball. His slider was inconsistent, and that’s the pitch that could prove key to his big-league readiness.

"Last year it was terrible. This year it's a way better," Rodriguez said. "Last year I just threw fastball/changeup, fastball/changeup. I threw some sliders but not where I wanted. Now I can throw it where I want — back-foot sliders and backdoor sliders."
