Robinson Parra relinquished three runs on a hit and two walks while recording the first two outs of the eighth. Gregori Segovia gave up one run (and two inherited runs) on two hits, a walk, and a wild pitch; getting a K for the final out of the inning.

Pedro Castellanos contributed three singles in four plate appearances. Michael Osinski obtained two singles in four opportunities. Ryan Fitzgerald flicked a single and his first round tripper in five forays. Tanner Nishioka notched a single and a walk in four trips. Kervin Suarez and Sam Miranda each stung a single in four matchups. Lorenzo Cedrola contributed a single in five at-bats. Everlouis Lozada drew a walk in four excursions. Victor Acosta was vanquished in all four ventures.

The Drive outfield helped to keep the Tourists at bay with four outfield assists; CF Kervin Suarez knocked down one runner at the plate (with a direct connection to C Sam Miranda) and RF Lorenzo Cedrola caught three runners advancing – catching a pair at second base (and SS Ryan Fitzgerald) on back to back plays (an hour or so apart thanks to rain) in the fourth (while committing a fielding error as well on the second play!) and then catching a runner at home the next inning.
