Eddie Jimenez made his professional debut in the fourth, giving up a hit. Yoan Aybar allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk over 1 2/3 frames; striking out a pair. Rayniel Moreno relinquished an unearned run on a hit and a walk over 1 1/3 innings; whiffing two. Eddy Reynoso hit a batter and committed a balk in the eighth.

Juan Hernandez hit a single and was hit by a pitch in four jaunts. Jecorrah Arnold and Brandon Howlett each had one hit in four at-bats; Howlett with a double. In the ninth, he gave up a single, threw a pitch that catcher Andres Gari couldn't handle (passed ball) which moved the runner to second, threw a pitch that catcher Andres Gari couldn't handle (wild pitch) moving the runner to third, and then gave up a second single to score the only run of the game, one that goes into the record book as unearned.

Fernando Rodriguez will get the start for Justin Haley for the PawSox tonight. He has a high of 3 2/3 innings (and 67 pitches) this season (one week ago) but pitched 2 2/3 innings (and 41 pitches) just two nights ago.

I'd expect Robby Scott and Kyle Martin to see multiple innings tonight as well.
