Holy Crap. I think travel baseball (travel tee ball?) has finally reached its nadir. The linked podcast is about a 6U tee ball "National Championship" tournament being held this winter - $450 a player. Paul Reddick covers it better than I can - it is 11 minutes long, but worth watching (or listening). I still shake my head about my one-season experience coaching in North Florida about 5 years ago, where they had Tee Ball All Stars, but this really brings it to the most ludicrous extreme. Wow.
