    Edilson Batista walked one and whiffed a pair in three hitless frames. Andres Jimenez yielded four runs on five hits and a walk over 2 2/3 innings; striking out a duo. Luis Rivero whiffed one in 1 1/3 perfect frames. Alberto Franco allowed one run on two hits over the final two innings; striking out two.

    Juan Carlos Abreu continues his assault on GCL pitching with three singles and a walk in five jaunts (Batting Average now at .351). Esteban Quiroz returns from extended DL time with a single and a triple in his first three rehab quests before being replaced by Nicholas Northcut who grounded out and then struck out. Keibert Petit and Caleb Ramsey each ripped two hits in four contests; Petit with a double. Elih Marrero mashed a single and a sacrifice fly in four excursions. Jecorrah Arnold singled once and took a base on balls in five appearances. Brandon Howlett hit a double and a sacrifice fly in five battles. Chad Hardy hit a single in four forays. Ricardo Cubillan was vanquished in all four ventures.
