Justin Haley yielded three runs on four hits, three walks, and a wild pitch over six frames; striking out a septet. Travis Lakins tossed a 1-2-3 seventh. Marcus Walden pitched a 1-2-3 eighth before wilting in the ninth, allowing three runs on two singles, a walk, and a hit by pitch while picking up two outs. Robby Scott surrendered a single (scoring two inherited) before getting a fly ball to end the ninth.

Oscar Hernandez hit a single in three opportunities. Mike Miller, Ivan De Jesus, Josh Ockimey, Sam Travis, Brandon Phillips, and Rusney Castillo each contributed one hit in three trips; Phillips with a double, Ockimey with a 3-run jack. Jantzen Witte struck out twice in three junky jaunts. Aneury Tavarez took a quartet of abysmal appearances.

Teddy Stankiewicz surrendered three runs on six hits – including dingers from Dylan Davis and C.J. Hinojosa – and a walk in seven innings; striking out six. Trey Ball gave up a single in an otherwise clean eighth. Josh Taylor yielded a single and a walk in the ninth.

Bobby Dalbec drilled his first two AA homers and drew two walks (one intentional) in four battles. Luke Tendler laced two singles in four trips. Jeremy Rivera roped a single and a double in five jaunts. Jhon Nunez notched a triple, a hit by pitch, and a caught stealing in four matchups. Johnny Bladel blooped a single, earned a free pass, and stole a base in five junkets. Deiner Lopez and Danny Mars each lined a double in a quartet of dances. Tate Matheny walked once in four treks. Denyi Reyes delivered 5 2/3 scoreless frames, giving up five singles and a walk while whiffing four in his High-A debut. Kevin McAvoy walked two, hit one, and struck out three in his 2 1/3 inning stint; he also uncorked a wild pitch. Joan Martinez was mauled for five runs on three walks, a single, and a grand slam from Demi Orimoloye; striking out both men he retired while throwing a pitch to the backstop. Algenis Martinez threw five pitches to pick up the final out.

Josh Tobias came off the DL and thumped a single and two taters while being plunked once in five jaunts. Tyler Hill hit three singles and stole a base in four trips before being replaced by Victor Acosta who served up a single in his one venture. Jake Romanski and Michael Osinski each obtained two singles in five opportunities. Chris Madera collected a double and a walk in four matchups before being replaced by Jagger Rusconi who grounded out in the ninth. Brett Netzer notched a single, a base on balls, and a caught stealing in four battles before being replaced by Nick Lovullo who struck out in his only up. C.J. Chatham collected a single and a sacrifice fly in five battles. Ryan Scott reached on a free pass and a hit by pitch in five sessions. Jerry Downs delivered a walk in five junkets.
